Prayer Note From Your Community Spiritual Director Bev Marshall-Goodell

May the blessing of the Holy Spirit keep you growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ.  I will be serving as your Community Spiritual Director for 2008.  One of my important responsibilities as Community Spiritual Director is to lead the community in its prayer ministries.

There are many ways that the prayers of the community support our important work of leadership development.

1.  The weekend prayer charts insure that each walk is bathed in our prayers.

2.  We can each include the work of the Cedar Rapids Emmaus Community in our regular daily prayer time.

3.  As the community receives word of prayer needs, we can share them with our special prayer warriors, who will ask for intercession.

4.  We can all give thanks the many ways God continues to bless individually and as a community.

Whatever you do, don’t forget to pray!
